The day was once a gain a huge success with 416 participants from not only the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area but also visitors from Kirkwood and East London. Second year students form the HMS Department hosted the day and ensured for the smooth running of all organizational duties.
Netball matches were played during the lunch hour and the team from Algoa Park Govan Mbeki were once again crowned the champions.
The HMS department is proud to be part of such a successful community outreach project and hope to draw in more participants for next year’s competition to promote an active lifestyle for our elderly population group.
