Ms Angelique Jennings, a graduate from the class and who is involved in youth football for SAFA NMB was organizing a Local soccer tournament for under 9 players of the Local Football Associations of SAFA NMB. The tournament happened to coincide with the graduation week of the students on 1 October 2012.
Under the guidance and leadership of Macebo Pako the class decided to purchase 75 soccer balls which were brought down to Port Elizabeth by Macebo from Johannesburg. Representatives from the class then handed the balls over to the teams at the tournament.
We salute these ambassadors to the world of sport and thank them for their generous gesture.
